THE body of Soviet Union founder Vladimir Lenin could finally be buried after 78 years.

The revolutionary’s embalmed corpse is still on display in his mausoleum on Red Square in Moscow.

But Russian culture minister Vladimir Medinsky said last night it was “absurd” that Lenin had not yet been laid to rest.
