Some say love is like a fine wine, improving with age. One Maryland woman must have taken that to heart as she’s getting married for the first time, at age 70.
Barbara Shultze finally has plans to walk down the isle this weekend for the first time in her life. Her future husband is 75-year-old widower Jean-Francois Ramos.
The pair met on a dating website for seniors, and the rest is history.
“He got down on his knee,” Shultze says, “and pulled the chair close just in case he couldn’t get back up.”
More than 100 friends and family are expected at the couple’s wedding.
